A few words from the AUEB alumni team

The AUEB Executive MBA alumni sailing team worthily represented AUEB in the top inter-university sailing gathering, winning the 3rd place among 14 competing boats. Our team quickly managed to put into practice what we learned during our studies and finally bring these results through teamwork and leadership skills. During these three days we were particularly impressed by the fact that through this sport activity we found out how to implement skills and techniques that we had been taught in theory. This is a statement made by most of the participants of the other sailing teams as well. It is indeed a great experience for learning, fun, extroversion, and social networking.

A few words from Professor Vassilis Papadakis, Director of the AUEB Executive MBA

At the Executive MBA we encourage our teachers to pass on to students the theory and practice of business administration through experiential learning methods. Such an experiential tool is the Business Strategy Game, a strategy simulation game which runs for a whole semester, where students during their studies compete in teams. I am glad that our graduates not only choose to continue their experiential learning by competing with graduates of the best Business Schools in the world in a sailing race but are also able to stand out.
