ACCOUNTANT | ALMA ECONOMICS
This role is part of the Finance department and reports to our Finance Manager.

HERE ARE SOME OF THE QUESTIONS WE HAVE RECENTLY LOOKED AT:
- How can governments best support people during the Covid-19 pandemic?
- What would be the impact of increasing the provision of social housing on levels of homelessness?
- What is the cultural value of film, TV, and video games?
- What progress has society made towards gender equality?
- How can developing countries increase tax revenues to fund public services?
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- bookkeeping and archiving
- undertake detailed analysis of company expenses, identifying unusual occurrences
- enter and process purchase invoices, ensuring that authorisation is obtained and that timely payments are made
- process and log petty cash and staff expenses
- produce financial reports for the Finance Manager regularly and at ad hoc basis
- manage the relationship and contracts with key suppliers
- bank and credit card reconciliations
- assist the HR function (e.g., employee contracts, annual leave)
- other tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the finance department
WHO WE WANT TO WORK WITH
YOU HAVE
- an accounting degree (TEI/AEI)
- minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- MS Office Suite skills
- working English level
- basic knowledge of employment law
